TESTING THE PH OF THE BODY
Testing the pH level of the body is done with pH testing strips or tape. Either saliva or urine is placed on the tape and then compared to the colour chart which comes with the testing tape. Saliva pH tends to be more accurate than urine testing.
Testing the pH ((Information from the book Therapeutic Fasting)- Place a small amount of urine in a glass and then dip the testing tape into it. The most important urine reading of the day is the first of the morning- the pH should read between 5.5 and 5.8. For saliva testing first thing in the morning- drink a glass of water and wait 3 minutes, then place some saliva on the tape and compare to chart. It should read 6.2 to 6.6 (normal is 6.4). Normal readings for the early morning are urine- 5.5 to 6.0 and saliva 6.2 to 6.4. You should be concerned when the saliva is below 6.0 and the urine is above 6.8. Testing the pH (taken from the book Cleanse and Purify Thyself)
Part 1- The Saliva Test- Place saliva on the pH testing tape between meals (approx 2 hrs after meal)- a healthy reading is 6.4 to 6.8. A reading of 6.1 or below indicates serious mineral depletion and poor health.
Part 2- The Lemon Test- Squeeze the juice of ½ lemon into 2oz water and drink. Swish the juice in the mouth once just before swallowing. Wait for 1 minute and then do a series of 6 saliva tests on pH testing tape. A healthy reading is 8.0 or above. A reading of below 7.0 indicates a serious mineral depletion and poor health.
Part 3- The Urine Test- you will need to devote a day to eating 100% vegetables and their juices- absolutely no other foods allowed including fruits. Do not exercise strenuously. The next morning wet the pH testing paper mid-stream. Your reading should be 7.0 or above. A reading of 7.0 or below indicates a serious mineral depletion and poor health.
